REPRESENTATIVE CASES

Attorney George has handled matters both in state and federal courts in the cases such as:
 The Donahue Family's wrongful death case: Attorney George filed this multi-million dollar claim against the federal government in the aftermath of the Bulger-Flemmi disclosures of corruption in the Boston office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
- Revere Developer Louis R. Pagliuca: Attorney George secured rare acquittals for bank fraud in a federal jury trial that led to the dissolution of the New England Bank Fraud Task Force of the United States Attorney's Office.
- Humberto Correia: Mr. Correia was acquitted by a federal jury after Mr. George gained him a new trial and a jury re-trial for arson and insurance fraud In United States District Court.
- Alleged organized crime associate Darin Bufalino: Mr. George secured dismissals or reduced sentences for Mr. Bufalino in separate cases charging him with first-degree murder, armed robbery and attempted murder.
- Alleged organized crime soldier Vincent Gioacchini: Mr. Gioacchini's sentence in two separate major federal organized crime racketeering cases as well as in a state indictment amounted to only six years after extended negotiations with the United States Attorney's Office by Attorney George.
 Alleged organized crime figure James Martorano: Mr. George defended Mr. Martorano in his federal racketeering cases.
- Alleged organized crime figure Francis Salemme: Mr. George handled this client's federal obstruction of justice case, securing the defendant a sentence which guaranteed him his freedom in one half of the time originally sought by the Government.
- Cambodian businessman James Bunchan: Mr. George defended this businessman in a multi-million dollar fraud case in the United States District Court in Boston.
Attorney George has represented individuals and entities throughout the entire spectrum of criminal matters including grand jury investigations, criminal subpoenas, health care, environmental, banking, securities, tax, government contracts, public corruption and other alleged criminal violations including obstruction of justice, mail and wire fraud, conspiracy, RICO, and money laundering. Some of these cases include:
- Revere police officers in the so-called CVS robbery case: This matter, in which Mr. George gained the dismissal of the indictments against Officer Daniel Sweeney and his reinstatement as a police officer, was a high profile case involving the indictment of almost the entire patrol shift of the Revere Police Department for larceny and burglary.
- Separate defendants in the United States Funding, Dime Savings Bank, Com-Fed Savings and Bar
 nstable Community Credit Union federal investigations: Attorney George successfully argued for reductions in the federal guidelines in these cases which resulted in lesser sentences for these clients.
- George and Patricia Brewster: This husband and wife served no prison time in their multi-million dollar federal tax evasion cases handled by Attorney George.
- Dedham Police Officer Fred Caruso: Mr. Caruso was acquitted for attempted murder in two different cases before two different judges in which he was represented by Attorney George.
- Wellesley Police Officers Ray MacDonald and Terrence Cunningham: Their police brutality case was tried before a jury by Mr. George with Attorney James St. Clair and resulted in not guilty verdicts for the police officers.
- Dedham Police Officers John Landers and Peter Smart: In these officers' separate jury trials, both men were defended by Mr. George as both were acquitted after accusations of police brutality and union fund fraud by the State Attorney General's Office.
Attorney George also handles appeals to all state and federal courts in Massachusetts and in courts throughout this country. Examples of several of these matters are:
- Revere Police Officer Robert Silva: Mr. George's argument on this appeal changed the law on perjury in Massachusetts.
- Professor William Douglas: Attorney George presented Dr. Douglas' motion for post trial relief after his
 plea to manslaughter in a case involving the 1983 death of Robin Benedict in Norfolk County.
- John J. Salemme: The Supreme Judicial Court. in an extraordinary directed verdict of acquittal on a first degree murder case after conviction by a jury, made new law on the insufficiency of criminal cases which trial judges had been allowing to go to juries up until that time. The case led to the freedom of many persons convicted of crime and Mr. George went on to secure the same type of first-degree murder appellate acquittal the following year for Antonio Mazza.
Many of Mr. George's criminal trials have been quite public and through these trials he has gained a reputation for courtroom excellence. Some of those trials are as follows:
- International fugitive Ted Jeffrey Otsuki: A Suffolk County trial involving the first-degree murder prosecution of one of America's most wanted fugitives for killing a Boston Police Officer and wounding several others.
- Charles Doucette: Doucette's historic case followed a course which included his first-degree murder conviction, an acquittal, a reinstatement of that conviction and a new trial.
- Terrence Taylor in the ''Tiffany Moore'' murder case: This trial led to a crackdown on gang warfare in Boston, after which Mr. George gained the acquittal of Mr. Taylor despite the conviction of Mr. Taylor's co-defendant Shawn Drumgold for first-degree murder.
- Sudbury businessman David Azar: In a Middlesex County murder trial that focused
 on child abuse, George achieved a lesser charge for Mr. Azar after presenting the leading medical experts in the field for the defense while attacking the prosecution's own specialists.
- William Bennett: This man was falsely accused and arrested n the 1988 Carol Stuart murder case, one of America's most heavily covered murder trials at the time. The victim's husband Charles Stuart committed suicide when it was discovered that he had faked the case against Mr. Bennett, which led to an overhaul of the entire Boston Police Department and the appointment of a new Police Commissioner.
- Richard Sarro: Mr. George defended Mr. Sarro in the so-called 99 Restaurant murder case in Charlestown, Massachusetts.
- Anthony DiGrazia: During the investigation of the so-called New Bedford serial killings case, Mr. DiGrazia committed suicide after being re-accused for these homicides by the then Special Prosecutor after Attorney George had gained his freedom after focusing attention on other suspects.
- Rhode Island commodities broker Christopher Hightower: This triple murder case handled by Attorney George was covered gavel to gavel by Rhode Island television stations for eight weeks in 1994 and involved a complicated disassociative personality defense.
 Accused serial killer Gene Travis: Mr. George handled this murder case, which involved multiple jurisdictions, forensic testimony and lengthy trials in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
- Ricardo Parks: Mr. Parks was found not guilty of double homicide in a case tried by Mr. George in Cambridge despite the fact that all five of his co-defendants were found guilty in the same trial.
- The Attleboro Cult homicide cases: Attorney George secured freedom for Rebecca and David Corneau after negotiating with authorities and personally leading investigators to the Maine burial sights of alleged victims in the case.
- State Police Sergeant Timothy White: Mr. George defended Sergeant White in two jury trials for drug trafficking while he was an officer in the Massachusetts State Police Drug Control Unit.
- National Hockey League Scout and United States Hockey Coach Robert Richardson: Attorney George defended Mr. Richardson in a Suffolk County rape trial after which he was found not guilty by a jury.
- Christopher McCowen: Mr. George represents Mr. McCowen for murder in the Truro homicide case involving fashion writer Christa Worthington.
- Mr. Universe competitor and bodybuilder Craig Titus: Mr. George defended Titus in his Massachusetts extradition proceedings involving the murder of his personal assistant in Las Vegas.
- Black Widow" Margaret Rudin: Attorney George represented Mrs. Rudin against charges of murder involving the Las Vegas execution her millionaire husband.
- The multiple homicide case of Siny Van Tram: Attorney George handled the infamous Chinatown Massacre case which occurred in 1991 when five men were executed in Boston's Chinatown District.
- Edward O'Brien: Mr. George defended this fifteen year old Somerville boy in juvenile and adult proceedings in which he was charged with first-degree murder in Middlesex County. This case was one of the most heavily covered criminal cases of the past two decades in Massachusetts and changed the juvenile transfer laws for homicide in Massachusetts after Attorney George successfully convinced a district court to retain jurisdiction of Mr. O'Brien. The case has also created new law and the recusal of two different judges who ruled in the defense's favor on the issues of bail and transfer.
 Shon McHugh: McHugh was the lead defendant in this homicide case, which caused the changing of juvenile transfer laws for the second time in the Commonwealth after Mr. George convinced a court to retain McHugh in the juvenile court in a case involving the stabbing of a M.I.T. Norwegian exchange student in Cambridge.
- Ray and Shirley Souza: Their child abuse case directed national attention, including a Newsweek Magazine cover story. to the issues of false memory and repressed memory syndromes as a result of the expert testimony presented at trial by Mr. George and which has been tied to the reversals of cases involving Kelly Michaels in New York and the Amiraults in Massachusetts.
- David Taber: Mr. Taber was found not guilty by reason of insanity of first degree murder after Attorney George presented expert forensic testimony to a New Bedford jury in a very rare high profile murder acquittal using a psychiatric defense.
- Joseph Catanese: Former State Police Detective Catanese was sentenced to a lesser sentence in a multi-defendant corruption case after negotiations conducted by Mr. George over several years.
- Corey Hood: This Attleboro man was acquitted of murder after a Bristol County jury trial.
- Bernard Piscopo: In a highly publicized South Boston murder trial, Mr. Piscopo was acquitted of murder and other charges after a Suffolk County jury trial.
- Manuel Cachopa: The former Stoughton Police Chief was acquitted of public corruption and extortion charges after a Norfolk County jury trial and recieved a probationary sentence after his conviction for a lesser charge.
